Before leaving His disciples Jesus promised them that He would send them an advocate. On Pentecost, the disciples received the gift their master had promised, The Holy Spirit. From the conversion of the 3,000 to today, it has been the Holy Spirit that has led people to proclaim Jesus as Lord and called them into mission.
“Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.” Acts 8:17
